Finally, I am excited having attended the 20th Annual AAOS Workers’ Compensation and Musculoskeletal Injuries meeting in Chicago. This was a high-power meeting that is a must-attend for those of us working in this ever more complex field. I was in the Windy City a day early to participate in a special workshop: Expert Witness- Solving the Legal Quagmire. I am also recently returned from the 2019 annual meeting of The International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators. This group is making IMEs the scientific and objective reports they were meant to be.
